When starting your heels journey, it’s best to find a shoe that gives you the right balance of ankle support and mobility as your ankles and calves get used to carrying weight on the ball of your feet. Start with heels that:
Have laces/tie up (so you can tie the shoe as tightly as needed to create that ankle support)
Have an open toe (to facilitate floor work and pointing your feet fully)
Have a stiletto that is anywhere from 2–4 inches tall (2 inches if you are just getting started and feel nervous about the heel)

All of the shoes that I currently wear and would highly recommend are from Vamp Heels. They have held up beautifully considering how often I wear them and how much floor work I do!
